Streaming

A Collaboration with Frankie Brackley Tolman

In this film, streaming, the center piece is the sound of a stream which acts as a basso continuo, and ties together the very disparate images of Frankie Brackley’s paintings; from the deeply moving mood of Changing Weather, to the whimsy of I’d rather be under the sea, and the final Arabesque which is also the title given to particular musical compositions, especially for piano. In contrast to the film Forest Fantasy, the music for streaming has no formal score, and was created in response the visual images of the painting and video.
